One of the B-Sides to the forthcoming Marlene E.P is a song written by songwriter Sharon Sheeley. She wrote songs for Ricky Nelson, Glenn Campbell and her boyfriend, Eddie Cochran.
The song in question that I covered is called "He's The Great Imposter", written when she was just 18 to be performed by the vocal group "The Fleetwoods". The song "Poor Little Fool", also written the same year, became a U.S Number One for "Ricky Nelson" making her the youngest woman ever to pen a top selling song.
The fatal car crash which killed the then only 21 Eddie Cochran also had Sheeley in the passenger seat, to which she only suffered a broken pelvis.
Sharon Sheeley died at the age of 62 on 17th May 2002 of a cerebral hemorrhage.
In 1988 she narrated this Levi's commercial about how she met Eddie Cochran.

One night, my room mate mentioned how it'd be pretty funny for someone to watch all the movies listed at the bottom of IMDB. I've started to, and it's not funny.
