Can you actually believe it?
I have a new website. One in which I can post shocking quality mp3's, Photography, shitty youtube videos and moan about photo developing places ( damn you wallgreens pharmacy!!! ).
You should all sign up and become a member! Then you can leave comments and interact e.t.c.. I wanted to give you guys a thank you present for if you sign up, so I decided to write and record a one off song for you guys to get for free!
The song in question is called "Heavy Purple" and was written and recorded two days ago, half at my friend Scott's studio, and finished off at Patrick from Chairlift's studio. Aaron helped out also by adding this really awesome intro to the song which features Caroline doing some great vocal acrobatics which was recorded quiet some time ago I believe.
For the most part though, you could say this was my feeble attempt at some "I Want You" meets "Midnight Love" Marvin Gaye-type-shit... we'll see..
You can download the song by heading back to the website after you've signed up! A new tab will then appear at the top saying "free mp3" !!!
Aaron and I then decided to film a video for it ...the next day!
The video was filmed using Chris (who I live with)'s sony dcr-trv950 camera.
I think a lot more things like this might happen soon, I've finished the new Lightspeed record, AND writing songs for my other project "Blood Orange". And now i'm happy just experimenting and writing new songs and making shitty videos until the next Studio album is released ! So yeah, expect alot more one off things in the lead up to the new album.

Falling off the lavender bridge deserved much much more credit than it actually received... some of those sounds have been the sounds i've been looking for to describe the emotions toward love and life in general my entire life!..lol.. i hope that made sense cause thats as clear as i could make it... so excuse my lack of explaining things clearly and congrats on the new(bigger and badder) blog :)
